How to: Make a simple eyeball bow!

I love this gore trend that is happening in fairy kei! (ily kyary pamyu pamyu) Eyeballs and bows are my favorite combination. But what if you're like me, and you are low on funds? I decided to make this tutorial for people who only want to spend $10 or less on a crafting project. To make the bows you will need:
-1 sheet of felt (any color)
- 1 sheet of foam (Preferably white)
- an exacto knife (Scissors can be used, but they will make messier cuts)
- A "big" circular object and a small circular object
- Pencil
-Markers ( 1 in black, 1 in any color you would like. I used fabric markers, which were much more vibrant!)
- A hot glue gun
All of these can be bought at Michaels or some other craft stores.

Step 1: Take your circular object (I used a plastic cup) and place it on top of the foam. trace it with a pencil.

Step 2: Cut the circle out of the foam either with an exacto knife, or scissors. (I cut mine with scissors, and the outcome is not as smooth and polished as I wanted it to be.)

Step 3: Use the bottom of the cup to make the circle of the Iris. Try to get it as centered as possible!
Step 4: Draw your eye a pupil! It can be any size or shape.

Step 5: Color it in with any color you want. I used pink in the original, but it was too matchy with the bow I put it on.
Step 6: Use the felt to make a stiff bow, and hot glue the eye on it.
Hopefully this will spark your creativity to do more eyeball themed things! Currently, I'm working on a chocomint like star clip, but instead of stars, I'm doing eyeballs and bones. This was all done on an unemployed (except for chores) high school students budget of $8, with some left to spare on some real eyeballs! (Just kidding, they're completely plastic "eyeball racers")
[p.s: I haven't been writing lately because of a computer problem. My hp is no longer with us. :( I'm currently awaiting either a new laptop or an ipad, and hopefully when I get that, I will be writing more! ]

Sorry I haven't really been updating my blog! I just don't know what to write anymore.
And If you're wondering about toki doki, I'm sorry, but I've been so tired when I get home, that I can never craft. I was going to open an order on the bow clips if anyone is interested. I'm trying to go for April 15th. They come in green, blue, pink, and clear! But this time they're more translucent (Since the bows I wanted last time went out of stock.)
Speaking of the store, what else would you guys want to see? I'm really tired of making chocomint rip-off bows, so if you could suggest anything, that would be awesome!
And maybe I'll be posting again soon, but in the meantime, you can read my cosplay blog:

Some good ideas for Charity

Hey guys! Its the Christmas season, and who is ready to give? I think it a great time to give to others, an it is encouraged all through the year! This Christmas, maybe we should give to needy instead of buying some things for ourselves?
This Christmas, I'm giving up expensive Ipod speakers to give to the ALS association. This is very, very close to my heart because they were the people who helped me through my dad's illness, and now the passing. In his memory for the future Christmases in my life, I will give up an amount of money in place of a Christmas gift for myself. If you have lost a family member or a friend in the past, I think you should do the same to honor them, and make sure the find the cure to save other people the pain of losing someone close to them. :)
Another thing I have seen in my mall lately is giving cards to your local VA hospital. Its for disabled veterans who have to stay in the hospital. If you have never been to the VA, the environment is very...depressing. I could not stand it in there the first time I went. I almost cried. Please help these Veterans the most, they cry when they see peoples cards, and I feel as if we don't give the veterans enough respect. So call up your local VA, and ask if you can send a card! Even a few words like "Merry Christmas" or "Thank you for serving our country." would make a Veteran's Christmas.
Hopefully some people take these suggestions to heart, and make someone have a really Merry Christmas.
Happy Holidays, Everyone!

Star tulle bow tutorial

Today I was a little sick in bed, so I thought what a perfect day to do some crafting! So I decided to make some star tulle bows for some added cuteness to my accessories basket.
What you'll need:
-Tulle
-Ribbon
-Needle
-Thread
-Little star beads or whatever shape you want!

1. Cut out a 6 by 4 inch piece of tulle to use.

2. Fold it over height wise two times, then fold it over once length wise

3. Wrap a ribbon around the middle and sew it on with a needle and thread.

4. Add a star bead with hot glue and you're done!

In the end it should turn out like this:

Not too extravagant; just something simple for you to do in less than 10 minutes. Happy crafting!
